Celebrated since 1994, 5th of October is the International Teacher’s day. This day reminds of the role and the impact they have in our lives, the realisations and contributions they bring to the society. In 2020, UNESCO proposes the theme “Teachers: Leading in crisis, reimagining the future” and wants to thank all the teachers for their efforts, especially in the current situation. We have all met outstanding, extraordinary teachers, who guided us and helped us along our way. E-laborator wants to help them and their students by supplying furniture of the highest quality for educational institutions.

According to a British study, an adequate environment can increase the learning outcome by 16%. Such an environment must not exclude natural light, which has highest impact on students, furniture and classroom design elements, including colours and room set-up and the space designated for each student, All these and many more are carefully taken into consideration when working with and for educational institutions.

The teaching and managerial staff from Cambridge School Bucharest are familiar with these informations and together we realised physics, biology and chemistry laboratories for their 600 students. Neutral colours that reflect natural light have been chosen for the worktops, and colourful accents have been added to the under-bench units, in order to break up the monotony and freshen up the room. The superior quality of the products and the chemical fume-hood makes the students familiar with the set-up and supplies of a modern laboratory and gives them a first impression on the working environment. This way, we realised the perfect learning environment for students to learn, and for teachers to teach!
